Loko Events — Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of the Loko Events mobile app. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Who can use Loko

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age where you live) and able to form a binding agreement.

2. Your account

You are responsible for activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in details secure. You can delete your account at any time in Profile → Delete account.

3. Events, tickets & payments

• Free events — you can reserve a spot and receive a scannable ticket in the app at no charge.
• Paid events — Loko does not process payments or sell tickets. For paid events, attendees contact the host directly (e.g. via WhatsApp) to arrange entry and payment. Any such transaction is solely between the host and the attendee.
• Hosts are responsible for their events being accurate, lawful, and actually taking place. Loko is not the organiser of any event and is not liable for events, refunds, or host conduct.

4. User content & community rules

You are responsible for the content you post (event titles, descriptions, images, contact details). You agree not to post content that is:

• illegal, fraudulent, or scam-related;
• hateful, harassing, threatening, or that promotes violence;
• sexually explicit, or that exploits or endangers minors;
• infringing on others' intellectual property or privacy;
• spam or impersonation.

We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users. Any user can report an event (tap the ⋯ menu on an event → Report) or block a host. We review reports and may remove content and suspend or remove accounts that violate these Terms, typically within 24 hours of a report.

5. Safety

Use common sense when attending or hosting events and when sharing contact information. Loko does not vet hosts, attendees, or events and is not responsible for what happens at any event.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate access for any violation of these Terms. You may stop using the app and delete your account at any time.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Loko is not liable for indirect or consequential damages, or for the acts of hosts, attendees, or third parties.

8. Changes

We may update these Terms and will revise the date above. Continued use means you accept the changes.
